About us

Boo books is a young independent publishing house based in Berlin and Hong Kong. We publish English and Chinese illustrated books that are suitable for all ages. Some of our titles come with a corresponding activity kit.

Our titles focus on topics such as arts, cultures, philosophy, mental health and social issues. 

We aim to produce books to introduce new ideas and controversial issues to spark conversations and reflections. Most importantly, to help readers to cultivate empathy, curiosity and open-mindedness.
